Guide Review
Gifts to Make and Eat by Elizabeth Macleod
Elizabeth MacLeod starts the book with an introduction which covers measuring, baking tips, and other dos and don'ts concerning food preparation. She concludes the book with additional ideas for wrapping the gifts you make, suggestions for making gift tags, and tips for safely mailing your creations. In between, the book has several recipes sure to please.

Treats to make and give away include cookies, party snacks, spices, flavored oils and vinegars, soup kits, drink mixes and more. Each recipe includes a section to help you package/wrap your gift accordingly. For example, make Stained Glass Fudge and tuck it into a home-made stained glass container. You can make a batch of peanut butter cookies and store them in a reusable container made from a potato chip container wrapped in colorful cord.

This book is packed full of wonderful recipes and ideas for packing and/or wrapping the treats you make. Great gifts ideas for everyone to make or receive.
