Celebrate Flag Day
Celebrate the American flag on June 14th and every day! Find ideas for crafts, games, and other activities.

Crafts to Make:
  • Make red, white, and blue paper chains to hang around the house.
  • Use a regular sponge and a star shaped sponge to make a flag print using paint.
  • Try some of these flag related crafts.

Other Things to do:
  • Learn more about the History of the Flag.
  • Learn and recite the Pledge of Allegiance and The Star Spangled Banner.
  • When you are out and about, count all the flags you see!
  • Did you know the colors in the flag have special meaning? The color red is for courage - hardiness; white represents faith, purity, and innocence; the color blue is for justice, sincerity, and vigilance.
