Celebrate man's best friend during the fourth week of September. Find ideas for crafts, games, and other activities.

Crafts to Make:

Draw a picture of a dog you have or would like to have.
Make dog puppets out of small paper bags.
Try some fo these Dog Craft Projects.
Make Cardboard Roll Puppets that look like dogs.
Make and then play this Pet Matching Game.

Other Things to do:

Talk about pet dogs and what needs to be done to take care of them.
Set up a dramatic play area to look like a pet shop.
Visit a pet shop.
Make sugar cookies shaped like dog bones.
Pretend you are a dog by crawling around and making sounds a dog would. (bark, whimper, growl, etc).
Figure out how a dog feels when they make those sounds.
Play this Mr. Bulldog Game.
