Alphabet Lace CardSherri Osborn
Kids young and old will have fun lacing around these craft foam letters. Use these printable alphabet letters and these directions to create your own alphabet lacing cards.

  • Age Guideline: 5 Years and Up
  • Time Required: 30 minutes + (Does not include drying time)

The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.

Materials Needed:

Instructions:
Print out the letter or letters you want to use from these alphabet templates. Print them onto a plain piece of paper and trace them onto a piece of craft foam. Cut them out.

Use the hole puncher to make holes around the outside edge of each letter, about 1 inch apart.

Cut a piece of ribbon or yarn about 2 feet long. Tie one end onto the craft foam letter, wrap the other end of the yarn with a small piece of tape to make it easier to thread through the holes.

Your alphabet lacing cards can now be used over and over again. Encourage kids to lace the yarn through the holes using different techniques, or they can even use a few different pieces of yarn, etc. Have them use their creativity!
