Materials Needed:
- Box (big enough for child to stand in)
- Paper to cover box
- Poster board or construction paper
- Black wide ribbon
- Wide felt-tip pen
- Stuffed animals (puppies or kittens)
- Plastic bags
- Animal ears and makeup
Instructions:
Cut out the top and bottom of the box. Wrap the box in paper (any kind). Attach the wide black ribbon to the box (I stapled ribbon on the inside, top edge of the box) in suspender style. Make sure it fits over your child's shoulders and the box hangs around the waist.
On the poster board or construction paper, with the felt pen, make a sign that says "Puppies/Kittens for Sale" and a dollar amount. Draw little dog or cat paw prints all around the paper; glue or tape the sign to the front of the box.
Sit the stuffed animals inside of plastic bags so their heads are sticking out the top. Staple the plastic bags inside the box so you can see the animals' heads peeking over the top of the box.
For the finishing touches, make you child Cat Ears or Dog Ears to wear. Use make-up to make nose, whiskers, etc.
