Find out how to use a tin can and a paper plate to make a treat cup that looks like a bat.

  • Age Guideline: 4 Years and Up
  • Time Required: 30 minutes (Does not include drying time)

The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.

This bat treat cup is made the same way as the Cat Treat Cup!

Paint the outside of the tin can and the entire paper plate black. Paint a mouth on one side of your can and add the wiggle eyes (you can also paint on eyes if you like).

Once the paint is dry, cut the paper plate in half. Along the straight edge of half the paper plate, cut a scalloped edge to make the bat's wings.Glue the wings on the side of the can, opposite the face. Let the glue dry before you move it around!
