Bottle Cap Alien Magnet Craft

Use your imagination and some basic craft supplies to create your own alien magnet. Read through the directions I provide here, and then use your own unique ideas and craft supplies to make your own alien.

• Age Guideline: 5 Years and Up
• Time Required: 20 minutes (Does not include drying time)

The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.

Materials Needed:

• Bottle Caps
• Pom-poms
• Wiggle Eyes
• Chenille Stem
• Ribbon
• Craft Glue
• Magnet
• Scissors

Instructions:
Start off by gluing a magnet to the top (outside) of the bottle cap. Glue a pom-pom to the inside of the bottle cap. Glue the wiggle eyes to the center of the pom-pom.

Cut two pieces of chenille stem and glue them onto the bottle cap alien to make antennae. To make them spiraled, like mine, simply wrap them around a pen or pencil. For a finishing touch, tie a bow in a piece of ribbon and glue it to the alien.

Once all of the glue is dry you can stick your bottle cap alien to pretty much any metallic surface. You can also create unique aliens using your own ideas.
