- Time Required: 20 minutes (Does not include drying time)
The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.
Materials Needed:
- Plastic milk jug with smiley's on the side
- Cardstock
- Sharpie marker
- Candy
- Craft glue
- Scissors
Instructions:
1.) Cut out the smiley's from the side of the milk jug.
2.) Cut a circle out of cardstock slightly larger than the smiley.
3.) Use a black sharpie to color in the smiley's eyes and smile.
4.) Sprinkle 'nerds' candy inside plastic smiley.
5.) Place circle over the smiley, hold firmly and flip over.
6.) Lay of flat surface and apply glue to the outer edge. Gluing the plastic smiley to the cardstock.
7.) Let dry overnight.
Note from Sherri: Where I live we don't have milk jugs with Smiley's on them but you can still do this craft with a milk jug that has a round indent on the side. You can always draw your own smile face or even decorate it with other items!
