Materials Needed:
- Cardboard Box
- Masking or Duct Tape
- Markers or Paint
- Scissors or Utility Knife
Instructions:
Drew suggests using a box that is about 3 feet tall by 2 feet wide by 1.5 feet deep, but you can use whatever size works best for you. You can also cut apart a large cardboard box and use masking tape or duct tape to reconstruct it in the size you want.
Tape any/all of the box openings closed, except the side that will be the bottom of the book (one of the sides that are 2 feet x 1.5 feet). Cut the flaps off of this end if necessary. Cut a hole in the top center of the box (the other side that is 2 feet x 1.5 feet). This will be for your head to fit through so make sure it is the right size. Cut two holes in the sides of the box just below the top for your arms to fit through (the 3 feet x 1.5 feet sides).
Once you have your box cut to size, use markers or paint to design your book cover. Fashion it after your favorite book or make up your own book!
