The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.
Materials Needed:
- 1 CD
- Pop-Up Sports/Water Bottle Lid (Like the one pictured here)
- Balloon
- Strong Glue
Instructions:
Glue the lid over the hole in the center of the CD. Make sure that it is glued securely and that no air can leak out of it. Close the lid but make sure not glue get in it. Decorate the CD if you like. Let the glue dry completely.
To make the hover craft work, blow up the balloon, pinch it closed, and place it over top of lid. Place it on floor and open the lid. The air coming out of balloon will hopefully create a hover craft type toy.
