Coffee Filter Covered Crafts

Submitted by Silvia
Silvia explains how you can cover jars and cigar boxes with coffee filters and achieve stunning results.

  • Age Guideline: 8 Years and Up
  • Time Required: 45 minutes (Does not include drying time)

The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.

Materials Needed:

Clean the boxes or jars with a damp cloth. Use glue to attach the coffee filters onto the jar or box however you like. Completely cover the jar or box. Let the glue dry.

Use paint to decorate your jar or box. Once the paint is dry, seal your project with the clear acrylic spray. Once the clear acrylic spray is dry, you can add a ribbon or any other dimensional items.

Silvia says, "It's a very easy way to have fun and at the same time you are creating beautiful things with recycled materials to decorate your home!"
