"I used a cardboard box witch I kinda fitted around Josh, my now 8-yr-old, then I got cardboard tubes for the roof supports. I duct taped the whole costume and primed it with Krylon spray paint because it dries fast. (I did the dozer 5 days before Halloween parade.) I then got the bright idea to use low voltage lightening from the garden for the headlights, so I grabbed two from the yard lights and slipped them into spray paint lids for the headlights. Thanks to Radio Shack, I got a battery holder and wired them up, with help, so he had working headlights for night time and the night parade. I then spray painted the whole thing yellow Krylon paint and added the signs or decals you see on it which come from Signs by Raymond ( grandpa's sign shop)." ~ Bob.
