"This was a last minute Halloween costume. We made the deer antlers by cutting 4 antler shapes out of a brown paper bag. We glued 2 antler pieces together, with a few chenille stems inbetween them to hold them out stiffer, and the glued them to the side of a blaze orange cap. To help people figure out that he was a deer out for revenge on hunters, we wrote "The Deer's Revenge" on the front of the cap.
To complete the costume I used black face paint to make a deer nose on my son's face and then he wore some blaze orange hunting clothes and carried a toy rifle." ~ Sherri
