Guide Review - Fast, Fun, & Easy Fabric Critter Bags
The projects in this book are not only fun but also practical. You can start out by making a pillowcase that looks like a rabbit, lion, lizard or cow. Then, move onto a large beach bag that resembles a shark, lizard, or fish. Learn how to work with zippers by making a fun pouch disguised as a cat, pig, bird, or zebra. Besides all of this, you can create pouches to be used as lunch bags, gift bags, and so much more. I think my favorite bags have got to be a little fleece duckling bag and the circle-based bat bag.
Keeping with the format of the Fast, Fun & Easy series of books (more listed below), this book has great tips and hints scattered throughout it. These highlighted boxes offer fast hints, fun alternatives, and easy suggestions. These features, along with the easy-to-follow, step-by-step directions and colored photos, make your bag crafting experience more pleasurable and creative!
Like I said before, once you create one or two of these projects you will start creating your own critters. I look forward to making a variety of these bags to give as gifts. The best part is, as a sewer, I have everything I need already laying around my house.
