Kathy says you can use an awl or a large needle to poke several holes in the cover of the film container. Open a bottle of glitter and pour some of the glitter into the film container. Replace the cover on the film container.
This is glitter shaker is easier for small children to use than some of the bottles that glitter come in. It also saves on your glitter because it does not pour as freely from the film container as it does from it's bottle.
You can make a different film container glitter shaker for every color of glitter you use. This especially works well for Scout groups, schools, and church craft days.
