If you think about it, science plays a big part in some craft projects. When we mix up a batch of clay or try our hand at dyeing fabric, we are dabbling in science! When we make the recipe for bubbles and go outside to blow them, the kids may not know it, but that is science at work. While you are doing these activities, don't flood them with scientific facts and findings, instead ask them simple questions and let them ask you questions. Get them thinking about it, and then you can even help them do a little research.
If you make any of these projects, make sure you send in a photo to be included in this collection. You can also get your projects published. You can be one of the first to know when new projects are posted if you take a few moments to sign up for the Family Crafts Newsletter and you can also chat about crafts with others in the Family Crafts Forum.
