Northern Light Streamers Craft

Make a Colorful Streamer Craft

By

This unique northern lights craft was inspired by an idea shared by Debra Thibodeau.

  • Age Guideline: 3 Years and Up
  • Time Required: 30 minutes (Does not include drying time)

The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.

Materials Needed:

Instructions:
Cover the outside of the paper towel roll with black construction paper using tape.

Cut 6 pieces of crepe paper streamer, each between 2 to 3 feet long. They can all be different lengths. Using a few different colors is great but one color works well too.

Put a piece of tape hanging off of one end of a piece of crepe paper streamer and then stick that end just inside one end of the paper towel roll. The tissue should be taped just inside the tube opening to hide the end. Repeat this for the rest of the pieces of crepe paper streamers.

Your northern lights streamer craft is now down. Dim the lights and dance around the room, waving your northern lights in the air.
