Western Centerpiece Craft

Dorothy Brons explains how she made these great cowboy-themed table centerpieces using a bottle and a few other supplies. The round Coke bottles she used were available during the holidays. If you can't find the round bottle, you can make these centerpieces using regular jars.

• Time Required: 30 minutes (Does not include drying time)

Materials Needed:

• Round Coke Bottle
• Western-Themed Sequins or Confetti
• Poly Pellets
• Western-Themed Stickers
• Fabric Scraps or Ribbon
• Small Cowboy Hat
• Craft Glue
• Scissors

Instructions:
Dorothy made these western "rattles" for a western-themed Christmas party for her motorcycle club.

She bought round Coke bottles that were out around Christmas time. She cleaned them and took the labels off. Let them dry.

She found western-themed sequins and put some inside the bottle. She also put some poly pellets (used for stuffing bean bag toys) inside the bottle. She decorate the outside of the bottle with western-themed stickers. She found some western trim to tie around the neck of the bottle, but you can use pieces cut from fabric or thicker ribbon. Top it off by gluing a small cowboy hat over the lid of the bottle!
