- Age Guideline: 6 Years and Up
- Time Required: 60 minutes (Does not include drying time)
The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.
Materials Needed:
- Yarn
- Small Balloon
- Diluted White Glue or Liquid Starch
- Scissors
Instructions:
Cut approximately ten 12-inch pieces of yarn. Blow up the balloon to the desired size and shape of egg you want.
Using one piece of yarn at a time, dip it into the diluted glue or liquid starch and wrap it around the balloon. Criss-cross the strings all different ways to cover the balloon. Once the yarn dries, about 24 hours, pop and remove the balloon. You can even tie a piece of string or fishing line on these and hang them around the house.
