Nechama explained how this project makes a fun edition When studying a unit on bees, "we first looked at pictures of honeycombs available from Google images".
She had the students cut apart the egg carton cups and glue them onto a piece of recycled cardboard to resemble a honeycomb with the the open cup facing up. The children can paint the honeycomb yellow.
You can also make a bee craft or two to go with these egg carton honeycombs.
