Carton Full of Cupcakes

This fun and tasty egg carton project was shared by Jan Hennings who has her own crafting blog called Papercraft Pleasures. Bake up some mini-cupcakes and creatively store and give them in a decorated egg carton.

• Age Guideline: 8 Years and Up
• Time Required: 30 minutes (Does not include drying time)

The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.

Materials Needed:

• Mini-Cupcakes
• Egg carton
• Paint
• Ribbon
• Items to Embellish (Jan used stamps)
• Photo
• Paint Brush
• Scissors

Instructions:
Paint the egg carton and let the paint dry. Decorate the egg carton using stamps or your favorite embellishments.

Use your favorite recipe to bake and frost mini-cupcakes. You can also use store bought cupcakes. Place a cupcake in each egg carton cup. Carefully close the egg carton.

To finish the carton of cupcakes, cut a pice of ribbon and tie it around the egg carton. As a finishing touch, place a photo on top of the carton.
