- 2 Pieces of White Poster Board
- 1 Package of Yellow Napkins or Yellow Tissue Paper
- Yellow Marker
- Red Glitter
- Hole Punch
- Devil Tail
- Devil Horns
- Devil's Pitch fork (optional)
Cut the posterboard into large egg shapes that are the same size. Draw a large oval in the middle of one of the egg shapes and color with yellow marker. Crunch up the napkins or yellow tissue paper and glue into yellow oval. This is the yolk/mustard area of the deviled egg. Sprinkle and glue red glitter as paprika on the napkins/tissue paper.
Punch 2 holes towards the top edge of each of the eggs. String the yarn through the holes, connecting the 2 eggs. The yarn will sit on your shoulders and one egg will be the front of your costume (the one with the yolk), the other will be the back. Finally, attach the tail to the back of the egg.
When you are ready to wear the costume, slip on egg the egg over your shoulders, making sure the yolk is in the front and the tail is in the back. Put on the devil horns and grad your pitch fork, and voila - you're a deviled egg!
