- Age Guideline: 8 Years and Up
- Time Required: 20 minutes (Does not include drying time)
The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.
- Old White Sheets
- Styrofoam Balls Dimensional Fabric Paint
- Ribbon or Raffia
- Wood Sticks or Dowels
Cut the sheet into squares based on the size of your foam balls (which is the head of the ghost). Place the styrofoam ball in the middle of the sheet, wrap the sheet around the ball, and tie it in place with a piece of ribbon or raffia. Use fabric paint to create a face for your ghost.
Once the paint is dry, push the dowel/Stick under the sheet and up through the ribbon and the styrofoam ball. Push the other end of the dowel/stick into the ground. Push it down until you can't see the stick, but so that the sheet still can flow in the wind.
You can place a few in a circle like Sheiscrafty did and tie the corners together to make it look like they are playing Ring around the Rosie. You can also line a walkway or driveway with them.
