The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.
Materials Needed:
- Flat Rocks
- Paint (see the colors used below)
- Transfer Paper
- Pencil
- Clear Acrylic Sealer (optional)
- extra fine brush and regular paint brushes
Instructions:
Start out by painting the rock with white paint. Let it dry.
Download the ghost patterns Maria shared (Download PDF Ghost Pattern | Download JPG Ghost Pattern). Enlarge or reduce the pattern to fit your rocks. Transfer the pattern onto a rock using a pencil and transfer paper. If you prefer, you can simply draw your own ghosts.
A medium and a fine brush Craft paints: Pumpkin Orange, Royal Violet, Apple Orchard, White and Black. Now, paint the your rocks around the ghost design. Maria used "Pumpkin Orange" paint, Green Orchard paint, and a mixture of "Royal Violet" and "White" paint. Let the paint dry.
Touch up the white paint on the ghosts if necessary and then outline the ghosts with black paint using a fine brush. Once all of the paint is dry, you can apply a coat of clear acrylic sealer to protect your paint job.
