M & M Cookies in a Jar Recipe

Learn how to make tasty M & M cookies in a jar that make a perfect gift. This project also includes a printable recipe card to include with the jar.

Jar Ingredients:

• 2 cups flour
• 1/2 tsp baking soda
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
• 1/4 cup white sugar
• * M & M's

Filling the Jar:
Layer the cookie ingredients into a large canning jar in the order listed. Use a small funnel to help you fill the jar and also make sure you gently pack down each layer after you add it. Use enough candy pieces so the jar is full to the top. You can use regular M & M's (I used the red and green ones) or the mini M & M's made for baking.
