The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.
Materials Needed:
- Toilet Paper Roll
- Colored Paper
- Netting from Fruit
- Rubber Band or Thread
- Ribbon
- Craft Glue or Cellophane Tape
- Scissors
Instructions:
Start off by cutting the empty toilet tpaper roll into half and covering it with colored paper. Tie one end of the fruit net with a rubber band or thread and insert it just inside one end of the roll. Turn out the open end of the net so that it covers the toilet paper roll on the outside.
Put some candy or any other small sized gift into the toilet paper roll. Tie the other end of the net with the ribbon to close up the gift holder. Tie the end of the ribbon into a bow.
Now, the gift box is complete and can be decorated with glitter, beads, etc.
