Instructions:
Cut two large, identical gingerbread man shapes out of a paper bag. One will be the back of the gingerbread man and one will be the front. You can now embellish your gingerbread however you like. Add eyes, nose, buttons, rick-rack, etc. You can use paint, markers, scrap fabric, buttons, trim, and just about anything you have on hand.

Lay both gingerbread pieces together so the sides you decorated are facing out. Staple around the edges, but leave an opening in the top so you can stuff your gingerbread man. Wad up small pieces of newspaper and stuff your gingerbread man. Staple the opening shut.
