She used a coffee can, brown craft foam, a needle and thread, scrap of fabric for the dress/skirt, some buttons, cotton batting, and a wooden dowel.
She cut two head shapes out of brown craft foam and stitched around the outside edges. She stuffed the head using a little bit of cotton batting. She cut out 4 arm pieces and stitches them together to make two arms. To hole the head unto the coffee can, she glued the dowel to the side of the can and slid the head onto the stick.
She gathered/ruffled the fabric and attached it around the bottom of the head so it draped down and around the coffee can. She attached the arms and embellished with buttons and bows. She then painted on the eyes and mouth and then added a button nose and cute bow.
