The other day I was at a craft store and saw a display for kits you can purchase and use to make cute trick-or-treat buckets. These buckets were adorable, but the price tag seemed to be a little too much for me. As most crafters do, I figured I could make my own Halloween buckets using items I already had in my craft cupboard.

When it comes to figuring out what to make, why not design a bucket that matches your costume. I made the parrot bucket to match a pirate costume. Another fun idea is to use
pumpkin carving patterns as inspiration or even as stencils!
