- Age Guideline: 5 Years and Up
- Time Required: 30 minutes (Does not include drying time)
The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.
Materials Needed:
- Construction Paper
- White Glue
- Crayons or Markers
- Clear Con-Tact Paper
- Scissors
Instructions:
Start with one big piece of construction paper. Cut an ice cream cone shape or even a bowl shape out of construction paper. Pick out the colors for 3 ice cream scoops. Cut out circles to be your scoops of ice cream. Set your cone shapes and circles on the construction paper in the position you want them. Glue them on your large sheet of construction paper.
You can see in my example I wrote a few lines from a popular ice cream song. You can write this or whatever you want. Don't forget to write your name, date, and age on the back! Cover your placemat with clear contact paper and it will last a long, long time!
