"My name is Sarah W. and I am 7 years old and this is my leperchaun trap. My teacher is going to try to catch a Leperchaun this weekend!"

We used two shoe boxes, duct tape, green construction paper, gold glitter glue, felt sticky pads, and we have golden bells for the gold in a lucky Irish 'pot'. We also made a rainbow with markers and paper and glued that over the top. We glued Lucky Charms shamrock and rainbow marshmallows to the sides, we made a 'keep out leperchauns' sign for the back and we bought some kind of wire ring full of shamrocks and put those over the opening. The greedy leperchaun will climb up the ladder, follow the golden path, under the rainbow to the pot o' gold, but, unbeknownest to him, he will step on a trap door and drop down to the lower level, and he'll be too short to get his wee self back up!"
