- Age Guideline: 8 Years and Up
- Time Required: 30 minutes (Does not include drying time)
The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.
Materials Needed:
Instructions:
Cut 2 pieces of fabric, about 3" larger on all 4 sides than your pillow. Lay one piece of the fabric on your work surface, right side down. Lay the pillow form, centered, on the piece of fabric. Lay the second piece of fabric, right side up, onto the pillow form making sure it is centered.
Starting in one corner, grab both points together. Slip a rubber band over the corners and slide it down to the pillow form and wrap to tighten. Your corner will now look like two little rabbit ears. Repeat this process with all 4 corners. Try to make sure the length of the 'ears' are even on all four sides and the fabric along the edges of the pillow is pulled tight. The raw edges of the fabric should be rolled to the inside so it cannot be seen.
To add a nice finishing touch, tie a piece of ribbon around each rubber band to cover it.
