The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.
Materials Needed:
- 14 - 1 1/16 inches Safety Pins
- 1 - 2 inch Safety Pin
- Seed Beads (refer to picture for colors needed)
Instructions:
Follow this pattern and the basic directions on the safety pin jewelry page to complete this project.
Each number column represents a pin.
- Your first pin will have 4 white beads, 1 red bead, 1 white bead, 1 red bead, then 3 more white beads.
- Pins number 2 and 3 each will have 5 white beads, 1 red bead, and then 4 more white beads.
- Pin number 4 will have 4 white beads, 3 green beads, and 3 white beads.
- Pin number 5 will have 3 white beads, 5 green beads, and 2 white beads.
- Pin number 6 will have 2 white beads, one green bead, 2 black beads, one green bead, 2 black beads, one green bead, and one white bead.
- Pins number 7 and 8 will each have 2 white beads, 7 green beads, and one white bead.
- Pins number 9 and 10 will each have 3 white beads, 5 green beads, and 2 white beads.
- Pin number 11 will have 4 white beads, 4 green beads, and 2 white beads.
- Pin number 12 will have 4 white beads, 5 green beads, and one white bead.
- Pin number 13 will have 5 white beads and 5 green beads.
- Pin number 14 will have 6 white beads and 4 green beads on it.
When you thread these beaded pins onto your larger pin, start with pin number 1.
