"I got so many compliments on my little snowman, I decided to do this two years in a row. It was so cheap and so cute. My son already had a one piece thermal underwear set (like pj's or long Onsie) so I used those. This costume could also be made with a white sweat suit. I bought pom-poms (black) from Hobby Lobby. They are 3/$1.00 and I used safety pins (no sewing again) to pin them on. The hat is also from Hobby Lobby and was under $2.00 (found on the doll making supply aisle). I safety pinned a piece of elastic to the hat so it wouldn't fall off. The scarf is a remnant of flannel fabric which I cut into fake fringes on the edges. Add some black socks to look like boots and you are finished. After Halloween, just take off the pom poms and you still have an outfit. My son was five months old in this picture." ~ Alison
