Learn how to easily make your own resist paintings using watercolor and crayons. Experiment and use your imagination.

  • Age Guideline: 3 Years and Up
  • Time Required: 30 minutes (Does not include drying time)

The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.

Materials Needed:

Instructions:
Use a white crayon to draw a picture on a white piece of paper. The picture will be 'invisible' until you paint over it using watercolors or watered down tempera or acrylic paint.

Have fun and experiment with different colors of crayons, paper, and paint.
