You can use these suggestions for finger painting with pudding. This is great project for toddlers and preschoolers.

  • Age Guideline: 2 Years and Up
  • Time Required: 10 minutes (Does not include drying time)

The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.

Materials Needed:

  • Household Cardboard, Finger painting Paper, or Cookie Sheets
  • Instant Pudding - Whatever Colors/Flavors You Want
  • Milk or Water

Mix up the instant pudding as directed on the package. Instead of using cold milk, you can use cold water. Put it in the refrigerator until it is set.

When the pudding is ready, you can use it on finger painting paper, household cardboard (like from cereal boxes), or you can even finger paint on a cookie sheet. For extra fun you can cut out specific shapes from cardboard and finger paint them. This activity is not only perfect for the youngest kids, but the older kids will also enjoy it.
