Materials Needed:
- Cardboard
- Empty Soda Pop Bottle
- Masking Tape
- Paper Mache Paste
- Newspaper
- Paint
Instructions:
Start out by placing the bottle in the center of a piece of cardboard that is about 2-feet square. Secure it in place using the masking tape. Use strips of cardboard to form your mountain by taping one end to the top of the bottle and the other end onto the cardboard so it descends out at an angle. Once you are satisfied with the shape of your mountain, you are ready to paper mache.

Once you have your paste made, follow these simple step-by-step directions to add several layers of paper mache to your volcano. Let the paper mache dry.
