Happy Earth Craft

You can use the directions here to make a paper plate earth picture that looks happy, or you can make one that looks sad if you prefer.

• Age Guideline: 3 Years and Up
• Time Required: 30 minutes (Does not include drying time)

The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.

Materials Needed:

• Paper Plate
• Paint
• Construction Paper
• Wiggle Eyes
• Craft Glue
• Scissors

Instructions:
Find a picture of the planet Earth and use that as a guide if you like. Use green and blue paint on the back side of the paper plate to make your own Earth picture. Let the glue dry.

Once the paint is dry, glue on the wiggle eyes. Cut a smiling mouth out of construction paper and glue it on. Cut out arms and legs and glue them in place. If you like, you can also make a sad Earth by cutting out a frown instead of a smile.
