Denim Patch Sweatshirt Craft

Di was nice enough to share directions for making a unique sweatshirt.

Materials Needed:

• White Sweatshirt
• Pieces of Blue Jean material
• Blue Thread (or any color you want to use to accent)
• Sewing machine with zig-zag stitches

Instructions:
This is very easy. Make your pieces of denim material different sizes and shapes. Sew to front of white sweatshirt so fringe edges is the result. The more you wash the more fringe will appear.

With a zig-zag stitch, just randomly go in between the pieces of denim that you have attached. I used blue thread in my sewing machine. You can also add fabric paint to the denim for more decoration or to glitz it up.

Simple to do and it uses up any scraps of denim material you may have!
