- Age Guideline: 3 Years and Up
- Time Required: 20 minutes (Does not include drying time)
The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.
Materials Needed:
- Inexpensive Picture Frame
- Paint
- Dimensional Paint
- Embellishing Items (Buttons, plastic gems, beads, charms, stickers, etc.)
- Photo
- Craft Glue
- Paint Brush
Instructions:
Take the back off the frame and remove the glass. Set them aside. Set the frame on a covered surface and paint it. Let the paint dry.
Now, the frame can be embellished. First, find the photo or photos to go into the frame so the embellishments can be planned accordingly. Use the dimensional paint to write a special message on the frame. The message can be as simple as "woof-woof" if you are using a picture of a dog or "best friends" if you are using a picture of friends.
Once your message is written you can decorate the rest of the frame. use colorful buttons, charms, rhinestones, beads, or anything else you have on hand.
