Pine Cone Owl Craft
How to Make an Owl Using a Pine Cone

Follow these instructions, submitted by Bev, and make a little owl out of a pine cone.

  • Age Guideline: 5 Years and Up
  • Time Required: 20 minutes (Does not include drying time)

The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.

 

Materials Needed:

Instructions:
When making owls, lay the base wood or branch so it sits evenly on your work surface. On top of the wood, glue one or more pine cones (one for each owl), pointed side down; each pine cone will be an owl's body.

Cut Two ears out of felt and glue them on top of the pine cone. Cut out a beak and glue it in place. Add the wgigle eyes. Let the glue dry.
