The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.
Materials Needed:
- Plastic Jug (Laundry, Water, or Milk Jug)
- Crafts Items to Embellish
- Utility Knife
- Nail File
Instructions:
Make sure the plastic jug is clean and dry. Use a utility knife (adults only) to cut off the top of the plastic jug, leaving the handle in tact. Make a hole big enough to place small toys into the plastic jug. use a nail file to smooth down the cut edge of the plastic jug.
Use whatever craft supplies you want to decorate the plastic jug toy carrier craft. You can use fancy paper, stickers, or anything else you like. You can seal the paper and stickers in place using decoupage techniques.
Heather's two year old son and three year old nephew like to carry their toys in these cool carriers, especially to sisters cheer leading practice; plus, they have easy access to their toys and Mom and Dad don't have to juggle toys and other stuff on an outing.
