Guide Review - 52 Projects - Random Acts of Everyday Creativity

This book is not your typical "How-To" craft book. It is more a manual as to how to think creatively in your everyday life. How to turn what may be an ordinary routine into a creative process. How to look at ordinary objects creatively.

Included in the 52 main projects in this book you will be encouraged to write inspirational stories, document family members' activities, send anonymous gifts to friends, and think outside the box! As perhaps an extra bonus, you will find one-line creative suggestions along the sides of some of the pages in this book. These "one-liners" includes suggestions to plan special celebrations, document specific thoughts and feelings, take unique photos, and much more.

Besides the creative projects shared in this book the author, Jeffrey Yamaguchi, explains how this book is an extension of his Web site, www.52projects.com/. He tells you the story of 52 Projects, what projects do for him, and what projects can do for you. Reading these sections were just as inspiring as reading the creative projects themselves.

As I said before, this is not your typical craft book, but rather a creativity manual. Even if you think you are not creative, I dare you to read this book and not feel a creative urge or two! You will amaze yourself at what you can do one you realize you can be creative in anything you do.
