Description
Guide Review - In-jean-uityThis great book provides easy to follow step-by-step instructions and full-colored illustrations to help readers complete the projects; plus, it contains full-page photographs of the finished products. It is a sturdy, hardcovered book that is spiral bound so it lays nicely on your work surface. The book starts off with a section which include tips for working with denim and also great basic sewing instruction. It then goes on to share 17 creative projects you can make using old jeans. It also shares variations you can try for several of the projects. You can embellish your old jeans so that they look like new jeans. There are ides for decorating the cuffs of the jeans, dressing up the waistband, or even splitting the sides and adding some color down the side of the leg. If you would rather wear your jeans in a different way, you can follow the directions for making a skirt or two and a halter top. You can also make fun accessories and even a few decorations. I think the slippers are especially adorable, and also the wallet. Or you can use a pair of jeans to make a tote along with a matching book cover. You will be amazed by all you can make using an old pair of jeans! Related Guide PicksFabric, Sewing, and NeedleworkBlue Jean CraftsMore Product Reviews |
