Guide Review - Photo Fun - Print Your Own Fabrics for Quilts and Crafts
Besides several creative projects, this book teaches you how to capture images and create your own printed fabric using those images. There is a section about using digital photos and also a section about how to successfully scan a variety of pictures and even 3-D objects. On printed on to fabric, which is explained in detail, the possibilities are endless!
The specific projects in this book include a variety of quilts featuring photos and also scanned items printed onto fabric. It also includes a couple of projects I want to make for my craft room, such as a lamp shade featuring a variety of scanned tape measures and a pin cushion made using fabric made from a scan or fun, antique buttons.
I really liked this book and want to try every project in it. If you enjoy sewing, quilting or scrapbooking, you will like it too! I also went out and got a second, related book titled More Photo Fun. Good stuff!
