The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.
Materials Needed:
- Jar or Frozen Juice Can Lid
- Felt or Craft Foam
- Dimensional Paint
- Wiggle Eyes
- Magnet
- Craft Glue
- Scissors
Instructions:
Start out by tracing the lid onto orange felt or craft foam. Cut out the circle and glue it to one side of the lid.
Cut a piece from brown felt or craft foam that is about 1" x 1/4". Glue one end of this onto the back of the lid to be the pumpkin's stem.
Glue the wiggle eyes onto your pumpkin. Make other facial features using dimensional paint. You can also use scrapf of felt or craft foam to make your facial features.
Finally, glue a magnet on the back of the pumpkin. Once the glue is dry, hang up your pumpkin magnet where ever you choose!
