Toilet Paper Pumpkin Craft
How to Make a Pumpkin Out of a Roll of Toilet Paper

By , About.com Guide

Tara from PA teaches us how to easily transform a roll of toilet paper into a wonderful pumpkin decoration.

  • Age Guideline: 5 Years and Up
  • Time Required: 10 minutes (Does not include drying time)

The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.

Materials Needed:

  • Roll of Toilet Paper
  • 1 Brown Paper Lunch Bag
  • 22"x22" Square of Orange Fabric
  • 12"x3" Strip of Green Fabric
  • Natural Color Raffia
  • Ruler
  • Scissors

Instructions:
Lay the orange fabric square on a flat surface. Place the roll of toilet paper in the middle of the orange fabric. Gather up the edges of the orange fabric and tuck into the hole of the toilet paper roll. Lay the green fabric strip and some raffia across the fabric-covered toilet paper roll. It should be centered over the top of the hole.

Roll up the brown paper bag, starting at the bottom and rolling towards the top. Give it a twist. Insert the twisted paper bag over the green fabric and raffia into the hole. This is the stem.

Thats it! A pumpkin is born.
