Now you need to secure the ribbons in place. Sew along the edge of the fabric using about a 1/4-inch seam allowance. Go very slow when you sew over the ribbons to make sure they stay in place. Remove each pin just before the sewing machine needle gets to it. Sew around the entire blanket like this.
