To make this quilt, I used special t-shirts, sweatshirts, and even some of his sports jerseys. Some of these dated back to when he was in t-ball and a Tiger Cub Scout and some were as current as a high school varsity baseball jersey. I also printed out several photos on fabric. I also scanned school art projects, certificates, poems, stories and printed them out on fabric. I used my embroidery machine and made some smaller fabric squares that included inspirational quotes and designs that were related to his school days.
This was the third scrapbook-style photo and t-shirt quilt I had made. The first t-shirt and photo quilt I made was for my daughter, Katie (Here is a picture of her quilt). The second t-shirt and photo quilt I made was for my son, Christopher (Here is a picture of his quilt).
