First, the length of the sleeve will be the same length as your dog's front legs. The width of your fabric will equal the circumference of the circle you cut in your fleece previously plus 1.
It is easy to figure out the circumference of your circle. Simply multiply the diameter (distance across the circle) by 3.14 (also known as pi). You can round this number up or down to the nearest whole number.
For example, my chihuahua's arms were 5-inches long. The arm circle I cut out of the fleece was 3 1/2-inches across. I cut two sleeves, each of them were 5-inches x 12-inches.
